Welcome to GloriousGals

Are you a woman who is seeking a better quality of life? As you mature it can become more challenging to make the right decision about your health. Especially, if your upbringing was like mine, filled with foods heavy in saturated fat, sugar and salt. It takes knowledge, dedication, deciphering truth from fiction, and work to keep our bodies healthy. And I believe friends can help with this process. Glorious Gals is my journey to keeping my body and the bodies of those impacting my life healthy. I truly hope your voice will contribute to the discussion so we can learn from each other to live a more glorious life.

Ciao, I’m Clara!

I love food. I love everything about it: colors, texture, aroma and of course, the taste.

My two favorite places to tbe are in the kitchen creating new recipes and at the gym revving up my endorphins. I am passionate about health and fitness and inspiring others to live healthier and happier lives.

My passion for health and fitness is rooted in the fact that my mother was never smaller than a size 16; mostly she struggled with a size 18. After contracting Alzheimer’s disease, she died at age 60. My father with a waist circumference of 52”, died after three massive strokes at age 62. I always thought they died too young and I would never allow my body to be that unhealthy. Which brings me to the topic of fat shaming. No, I do not. It’s not the size of your body–big or small–but how healthy it is.
